It also takes a very long time for engine to get warmed up. Over a half of an hour. Will produce some heat, (Luke warm) and then will blow cold again.
First, start by checking the level of coolant in the reservoir tank under the hood. If it is below the recommended level, you may leak or need to add more coolant. Next, inspect the hoses and connections for any visible leaks or damage. Additionally, make sure that all vents and openings in the heating system are clear of debris or obstructions.
See the heater, can earn in a warm room, so take care of the garage. When the webasto in a warm place is gone, change the fuel. First, lower the diesel, blow through the system, clean it, change the filter, pour in the new diesel. There is another reason for not entering the fuel heater. Diesel does not reach the pump. The sound is clear and loud.

4 things i've noticed: - a little bit of mouse poo on into the engine bay. - a very light smell of coolant, only outside, also a little bit of steam from heater area in the front driver side, honestly I dunno is is due to the rain on the heater or if there's a real leak somewhere. - when heating is working on passenger side, if i turn the driver
No. You may have a slight amount of natural circulation of coolant if the engine is hot but I doubt you'd notice it in any way. ii) Does the heater control valve circulate coolant to and from the heater core with the engine off. No. The valve being open will not circulate coolant unless the pump is running.
I am having the same issue!! Drivers seat heater clicks off as well seat adjustment stops working. I drive a 2007 335i Sedan, built 9/2006. I asked the parts guy at my local BMW dealership and he told me he was not familiar with this issue.
It would appear that your Left Mixed Air Flap Motor is NOT working or the flap is stuck in a position that directs some/much of the air that has been cooled by the Evaporator coil, through the heater core, resulting in Warm/Hot air on the Left. That assumes you can regulate RIGHT side as intended.
